a lot of times there’s an over dependence on the mind when it comes to emotions. “Let’s talk this out, let me write my emotions out ect ect”. but emotions are stored in the BODY not in the mind. we must feel our bodily sensations, especially when extreme and strong emotions comes up. allow your self to feel + breath deeply. that’s the only way to not repress thus inducing tramua or your repressed emotions will come out in ways that will potentially sabatoge you your growth.
5 elements of Somatic Intelligence: The Art of being Seductive
1. Elegance Not in terms of clothing, but rather our being. It is the possession of ourselves aligned with the quietness of being ourselves. Elegance like people in past generations have. We admire thier elegance; it's something about their being, it's the element of confidence.
2. Intention Connected to meaning and drive. When we think intention, our body language really shows how engaged we are in a situation. Being present, forward, it is the element of doing. When you somatically engage your body, you change the chemistry within (this takes about 2 minutes).
Elegance and intention is the balance of being and doing.
3. Tempo The element of adjournment, or suspense. Slow or fast; most people, now, their tempo of their body is an addiction. Addiction to the race of the pace; before they get somewhere, they're already thinking of the next thing, there's no enjoyment, no presence. Not enjoying the journey, not taking the juice of life but when you stop obsessing over the end goal, you enjoy the experience of the journey.
4. Sabrosura The sensuality that sits in self love, it's connected to love. Not just any sensuality. you can move with sensuality, but when it's with the sabrosura, it's something different. It's that self love. Whatever we think translates into how we move. If you look at the flaws, you're missing the beauty of it, missing the love, which also affects how we look at ourselves. It's the inner thoughts, the self talk-positive or negative, but that's just one aspect. The other is when we talk about containing other people. Aggression (and US Culture) is strong in intention, but lacking in elegance and sabrosura, love: Love is about bettering off the other person, not about taking. So, it's not really the elements that we need to tone down if you see there's a minus and a plus, it's the ones that are missing which balance it.
5. Mystery The trickiest one. This is where you can find both playfulness and seduction. And that's where people get scared, because there's a grey area there.. you can't really box it, it's a life energy. So how do you have that element of seduction without crossing boundaries? Look for the "no that's a maybe," where someone says no, but they're still flirting and playful at the same time. The problem lies where people take forcefully. Without flirting, how are people supposed to interact for love? Without that playful mystery, suddenly it's awkward and people don't know what to do, what's allowed and what's not allowed, and there are no rules anymore. This is both good and bad, but there are some boundaries to flirting. At work, there's no flirting, there's charming. Charming is different; it's very seductive, but not sexual. Fun. We see it in kids when they're really young. It can be used in a smart way, not for manipulation, but for success, because it's built into your body.
feeling this new groundedness to a new degree, intensity.
I feel the pull, the tug from the earth.
It rises past a few of my layers before it hits my feet; through my heels to the tips of my toes.
It’s a full, robust touch, feel. from this groundedness.
higher it pulls into my ankles, to stay longer,
to stay stronger, this tug from the earth.
so direct and purposeful, the earth tugs the back of my thighs,
it continues to climb,
circling my hips.
I feel them drop, lower, my pelvis; a new lover, relax.
this new groundedness in near effect.
my spine aligns, my organs float, this tug from the earth.
I’m feeling a rebirth.
my shoulders are spread.
my chest is risen and flat, lungs expanding.
I’ve taken my breath back.
neck elongates, a new song is sung!
all because this tug from the earth or is it a hold ? I’m feeling safe in it,I’m feeling whole.
~~ this poem- actually, this spoken word, this vibrational message of creation, is about my journey on groundedness. I didn’t grow up being very grounded. Because of issues with family, roots of fear, I rejected my body and found a ‘safe’ haven in my mind. but my intuition is strong no matter how much I try to over intellectualize everything. in this midst of too much mind too much emotion I became way too out of balance. I’ve had to teach myself how to feel safe, relaxed and love in my own body. it was/is a scary journey but I feel so much more joy, ease, energy, connectedness, through my body than I ever did when I was fixated on logic, or old conditioning that I KNEW, I KNEW ( bc my intuition is so strong) that was not healthy for me. I over thought and got lost in my mind instead of breathing into my body new healthy beliefs.
in this life the body cannot be ignored! the body will shout through illness, anxiety, posture, muscular and skeletal misalignment, aches and pains, depression ect.
my journey into my body; feeling my own presence as I allow earth to stabilize me, has been the most conscious altering and expanding experience I’ve ever had. I know I’m altering my reality into a safer, emotionally and physically, place, into a reality of more laughter and harmony. I’m feeling this 5D shift taking place through my body, because of my body. overall feeling a heavy weight of gratitude in my heart- I breath through it, smile, feel the tug/hug, and fall into the moment :)
