Kinda felt you'd say that, but I couldn't bring myself to write Daemon as someone who'd immediately offer his shoulder for their S/O to cry on, especially when his feelings for em are just starting to grow. I mean, we all know how he treated Rhea, after all.
In "Sapphire Tears", Daemon's marriage to the reader is an arranged match(as per ur req). He aaaabsolutely didn't want it, and he knows she didn't either. But poor ol' Viserys just really needed a fkn break (big FU to him, Daemon crawled right back). Anyhoo, my point is that he didn't want to get married at all,but did what he was ordered to do.
I think he sees himself in her- she's wicked smart, quick w the blade, sometimes lets her anger get the best of her(I mean, she did sock him in the face) . She's his female version but slightly better, as I see it, and this pisses the fuuuuck out of him. Let's be honest to ourselves, a person like Daemon most definitely won't know how to deal with someone that's so... Daemon 2.0 '-' I also think he doesn't understand the attraction he's feeling towards her- she's nowhere close to being his type. Y'know...silver-white hair...being a relative...

I rlly liked ur req, if I've gotta be honest. As I said in the A/N, the desc of the reader you gave reminded me sm of Brienne(love that woman w my whole rotted heart, Gwendoline is just👌) And no worries, there's not much that can make me uncomfortable. I'll most definitely come up w a p2 to this one, no idea when though.
