The Greatest Love of My Life - Chapter 1

"Feeling the first streaks of annoyance get a hold of him, he quickly skimmed the blasted missive. And then his blood ran cold. The card was not an invitation to some random society ball his mother was trying to browbeat him to attend. It was an invitation to a wedding. The wedding of Mr Thomas Dorset to Miss Kathani Sharma." __________________________________________________________

After his failed wedding to Miss Edwina, Anthony flees to the country trying (and failing) to use distance to dampen his feelings for the Elder Miss Sharma. And then he receives a wedding invitation with a scribbled message he just cannot ignore.

My fellow Bridgertonzians, (I have watched Wicked twice already, leave me be) I have come up with some more crazy canon-divergent love confessions. This has been shamelessly inspired by a very corny Brazilian Sertanejo song called "O Grande Amor da Minha Vida! ", The Greatest Love of My Life in English in which the lady confesses her love to a guy by writing it to him at the back of her wedding invitation TO ANOTHER MAN lol (It's SO TRASHY BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH OKAY? YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO IT IS SUPER VIBES!) I thought it would be the kind of stupid situation Kathony would 100% find themselves in and that's what came out of it! To @mimix007, who listened to me babbling and vibe-checked, you're brilliant, my friend. And again and always, to @harnitbee who is, seriously, best person and beta and writing partner. She stands all my dramatics and only for that she deserves a damn prize. This will be three chapters and one tiny epilogue long and it's all written and betaed so I'll probably be done with posting it by next week! WEeeeeeeee! I hope you vibe with this as much as I did! Do you think about tentacles?

Ever thought about having tentacles? Like, as part of your body? I sure have. Of course, most of my thoughts have been centered around the fantastical world of all things lewd. Fueled by porn logic and thirst for satisfying whoever is consuming said porn mostly. With the occasional real-world implications, because I’m still very much a nerd. Give me a minute and hear me out. Picture your hands caressing down the favorite part of a body. The sensation of touch, changing with how much pressure you push down on the skin. The change in stiffness when crossing over delicious curves, well toned abs, or the ridges of sharp features. The heat you can feel from that being. In part generated by this contact, this intimacy, reinforcing everything as so much sexier. Then there may be sweat, or the little ridges of minor injuries dealt previously for painful pleasure. There may be a physical reaction as your caress edges towards sensitive area. You can feel the expectation and the tremors. You can learn and feel so much from touch. But a hand can only cover so much of someone, it can only feel so many things. What if, you could feel or taste how horny they are from the sweat on their body. What if you could grasp so much of that person that you could feel every muscle in the limb you are touching twitch in response. What if you could feel all the sensations from start to finish, leaving nothing untouched behind. What if you could start innocuously and crawl yourself along to the most sensitive of places, never giving respite as you know every inch of the way how they feel. As you grip and caress them in equal measure. Kissing them furiously with your limb, every inch of their body. Then you could start touching them, completely and utterly everywhere they want you to be. You could ebb and flow, gliding across sensitive surfaces to the full pleasure of yourself. Feeling stiffness or contractions. Feeling sensations entirely unknown to us as receptors covering your whole limb fires incessantly through the repeated motion. I think about having tentacles a lot. Most of the time, it makes me really fucking hot.

Evangelion is a series that has grown in my mind over time. As I grow and change the characters take on new depth. Characters I hated become more sympathetic. I realize that I despised them because there are parts that reminded me of myself, and seeing those traits hurts.

I'm 31 now, older than Misato; somehow, I feel nowhere closer to her than years before. I sometimes feel like the cursed pilots, though aging physically, unable to move forward/being held back in other metaphorical ways. Yet I can more clearly see the motives behind adult actions now that I am older. The teenage reasoning becomes more brutal to watch as my mind goes, "no honey, no!! You need someone to teach you consent and communication skills" (which came in time for me with therapy and finding spaces in University where we talked about such things).

Perspective changes over time, and I am grateful for being able to grow and change so I can watch Evangelion and feel sympathy for the cast. It feels like an exercise in better understanding myself and practicing forgiveness.
