10) What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did?
well, when he was really little he probably wanted to be something cool, like an artist, maybe someone who designed murals or mosaics in the city. as he got older, he wanted to be rich, even while he hated the rich? he wanted to be like robin hood, but also to be rich and have nice things. while he was an assassin, he didn’t think about the future at all bc he expected to die young :( however all those dreams have changed now!! except maybe he does some art as a hobby, i hadn’t thought of that until now, but i like it
10) What do they always carry with them and why?

11) What’s a typical night’s sleep like for them?
depends! i think he’s a really light sleeper, but can fall asleep anywhere fast. so like when things are stable for the most part, he gets really decent sleep. he is bad at sleeping next to someone else though, every little movement wakes him up. he might get better at it over time, with someone he trusts not to kill him in his sleep
14) What matters most to them right now?

4) What’s something they were sure would happen in their future but didn’t?
this is hard bc he didn’t have a lot of plans for his future growing up (aside again from he thought he would die young and he didn’t). i can more easily point to things he thought would never happen that did. he never thought he would have people in his life that loved and cared about him and stayed even when things were bad. im making myself sad, bel
7) Are their friends still a part of their life? Are there people they are no longer in touch with, or newly important people?
the worst trope in the world is found family that splits up at the end of the story, so they better still be part of his life. so like moash, lift, del, tama, oro, like those are people he still wants to have in his life forever. i haven’t decided if he reconnects with his sisters or not and how that might go. but if they do reconnect, i think that it would go maybe rough at first but well overall. i think he does reconnect w his ex from when they were assassins, zhi, but i don’t think they have like a cathartic talk or anything. it’s mostly like. awkward. and he’s glad i think that she seems to be doing better, but she’s not someone he wants to keep in his life going forward.
8) Would they become a mentor figure for anyone?
i think if you asked him now it would be a hard no, but !!!! i mean, i could see it just sort of happening unplanned. and i think he’d be good at it, once he like gets to the point in his life where he can be a mentor to someone else. i think it’s actually likely that it does end up happening. he probably gets a real problem child too and it’s like, paying it forward, you know?
