Surely you were nervous because it was a job interview and important to you?! That's a good thing.

Exactly! And that was literally the only "negative" feedback they gave me. Meanwhile the people who weren't really fussed either way whether they got the job and so were more relaxed are the ones who get offered it.

Also got a letter from the Edinburgh job in the post saying "we want to congratulate you on a good performance throughout the assessment" but they're going to give the job to someone else. Wow thanks for that constructive feedback

Hooray! What an achievement. I hope it went well.

It did go well, they were really impressed with my experience and said I did very well in the aforementioned stupid group tasks.... but didn't give me the job because "your nerves showed"

i.e. I am not perfect in every way therefore apparently am not deserving of employment
