I'm finally digging in to Amber Skies in earnest and I wanted to tell you how much I love it already - it's so warm and familiar while being alien and new, and I find myself tearing up at some of the descriptions, though I don't know why! It's just very lovely. Thank you for writing it, and for all your wonderful content, and for all the healing work you do. You work so hard, and I know I'm not the only one who is grateful.

Hey there!! I hope you're doing good today! I was wondering if you had experience in working with young dragons, and could give any tips? Do they behave like human kids to an extent?

Hello!  I’m so sorry this answer took me so long, but I’m happy to finally get around to it!  Young dragons are adorable, and an absolute pleasure to work with, but like any baby animals they can be quite a handful.  I wouldn’t recommend taking one on unless you were absolutely sure you could give them a fair amount of attention.

I wouldn’t say they’re necessarily like human children - perhaps a mixture of human, dog, and cat.  They’re incredibly curious, energetic, playful, and they are constantly soaking up information like little sponges.  Little balls of energy, baby dragons need a lot of attention.  I’d recommend that if you have one, you leave toys or books, physically or astral, for them to play with if you leave them at home.  If you plan on bringing yours around, make sure you are periodically engaging them in what you’re doing.

I also think that having a small altar for them is just as acceptable as any other spirit, and should still be filled with things of their preference.  However, because of their young age, I would assume that the brighter/shinier, the better. Interactive offerings (puzzles, etc.) are also great. Anything that catches their attention will be a blessing.  There are a million and one different types of dragons, so unfortunately I can’t give you any specific suggestions, but his is the general idea.

I guess there’s no true, physical negative effects to not keeping your tiny derg busy, but it would be needed in order to keep good care of them. Like any small, growing animal, if they are tired by the time they go to bed, you’re doing it right.  Some baby dragons can grow, and some can’t.  It really depends on the universe they’re from, the relative timespeed, and if it is a universe in which the spirits are alive.  I’d recommend adopting one that can grow (ask the seller or the spirit beforehand), because otherwise it will be a very long and arduous commitment. I tend to only bind from living universes, simply because I do not have as good of a connection with the dead.

Ooh, that’s so exciting!  If you don’t mind me asking, what species will they be? I totally know the feeling of the nervousness and excitement waiting for a new companion - when I’m really called, I feel that way every time ^__^

drug tests are nooooo big deal trust me, just make sure you drink water before you go and you'll be set!! it's weird, but not scary. good luck!!!

Thank you! I’m okay with the actual drug test part, I’m just scared about the job part. Like, I know it won’t be as terrible as I think it will, I’m just scared I won’t understand how to do anything, or I’ll be untrainable or something. It’s just silly.

like, my bet is definitely that something is trying to reach out to you; my money is on the fae, but friendly spirits will drop tokens where you can find them, too. do you feel anything specific when you find these flowers?

I’m not really sure what I feel when I find them. The first time I ever found any fake flowers, I found 4 in a day, and I kind of felt like I knew they were for me, and that I was going to find more. So, after that, it was mostly just like adding to my collection. It was only when I realized they were not location specific that I started to really wonder about it. sometimes (like today) I’m really surprised that they’re still coming, but that’s kind of all. I think you’re right about them being from the fae, but I’m not sure why they’re being sent to me.
