Someone who offers support,

Who’s willing to be there,

A bastion, through whatever may come.

Someone who really cares.

Friend.

Someone who knows you too well,

And can truly understand,

Who has your back, through thick and thin.

Someone who pushes you to be a better man.

Brother.

Someone who loves and adores,

Who, in the dark of the night,

Will embrace you, close and intimate.

Someone who promises it will be alright.

Lover.

Someone who unites all of these,

You know what? I’m excited about the time to come! It’s been a few years since I could walk a dog around town (Zaira was an old, lovely gal so she couldn’t walk around for long) and I’m just looking forward to that? To have a little pupper to show the town to, bring to the sea, to doggy parks and stuff like that!

Sure, I’m not as healthy as I was when I was doing those things with Zaira (nor am I able now to go to public places alone) but that’s not going to stop me and it’s gonna be good.
