I have unstable internet. Why is this related to fan joy? Because I download epubs of stories I like. The reader I use keeps track of authors, among other things. I normally don't pay attention to the author, but one day when I was browsing the library of my old phone (where my largest library currently lives), I'd gone to the fics-by-author tab in hopes of mixing things up. I scrolled through a long list of authors who I had only downloaded one, two, maybe three works from. Nine from this one person, they had a series. I expected that, but...
Then I stopped. If I was eating at the time, I might have spat it out.
One author had TWENTY-THREE works I'd downloaded!
I don't pay ATTENTION to this kind of stuff! I don't really care who makes a thing, just that it's good!
That was the day I discovered I have a favorite author: @somer-writes .
So much Twilight angst. So much.
Every story in my head, unless I originally thought of it as for another Link, inevitably turns into a Twilight story. Almost all of my AUs focus on either Twilight or all the Links (and I started with Twilight). I am obsessed with this guy. In a fan joy way.
Somer writes the best Twilight angst, hands down. I study his work.
So this July, I'm dedicating to you, Somer. You're an amazing writer and I couldn't be more happy I discovered I have a favorite.

Time: he seems to me like he would like regular and French vanilla— I think it would remind him of milk and therefore his wife.
Twilight: rocky road maybe? I think he’d like the nuts and things. That or moose tracks.
Sky: black raspberry
Four: rainbow sherbet (yes it counts, shut up Wild)
Wind: bubblegum ice cream. Yes it exists and it’s gross but Wind loves it. Also likes chocolate chip cookie dough a ton.
Legend: he seems like a cookies and cream kinda guy.
Hyrule: mint chip.
Warriors: plain chocolate, but he likes the peppermint kind too.
Wild: salted caramel crunch, rum raisin, cotton candy... he likes the more unusual stuff, and loves tasting it. He’ll eat anything, though. The bacon ice cream was pretty good, actually.

sometimes my shower holds me hostage with the worst ideas known to mankind.
I don’t have an explanation either.
