I think it's very important to my interpretation that Sasha and Juno ALSO don't know what they are to each other beyond "best friend" bc there's clearly something else there (not like. deep-seated romance. just Something Else idk how to explain it) but they're too busy losing their shit slowly to actually know what it is. and then they dont talk for 15 years
