It's been long since I've written to you. But life really hasn't been easy recently. A part of me crumpled the day you left. It was sombre and suddenly really. Who'd have known that our journey that was quite literally filled with rainbows and sparkles would come to an end as sudden as that one? I, for sure, hadn't expected it.

They say denial is the feeling that let's you know you're grieving. They say the rage is bound to seep through your veins and pull you towards the cold hard bathroom tiles. They say it's ok to let yourself feel becuase it only makes you human. But they never tell you how you can lull yourself to sleep knowing that you're rock is now somewhere among the clouds.

I don't know if you were taken away from me for better or worse. But I wish we lasted longer — for better or for worse.

Let's hope this one actually reaches you and you actually pick it up and make an effort to read it.
