I really like how the characters in elden ring are so flawed, but in a unique way. Like some of them are fully aware that they are flawed but most of them completely believe they're in the right and you can understand their perspective. Usually we know how their pov is flawed because we know something they don't, so many characters worldviews are born of ignorance and I think that's a really interesting way to make characters complex without just making them morally grey.
