Favorite non-FS character: Daisy Fun fact about yourself/something you’d like to share: In the pineapples on pizza discourse I firmly align myself with team pineapple.  Recommend one thing (book, movie, show, etc.): I recently read the comic series Giant Days by John Allison, it has well-written female characters and relationships and tbh I could keep going on and on about how I love it.

#neverashamed. Joe was on a reality show here and I alarmed my hostess with the vehemence of my dislike for him...but Nick was just a thousand times better, okay? He was. And then I had to make my counterpart listen to them the next day.

See, Joe is closer to my age, and yeah, he’s still Joe, but. I mean, I just identify with him more. However, and this may shock you, I wouldn’t say I have strong opinions about it. I hope we can still be friends. But forcing your friends to listen to and/or dance to all three of them is always, always a good choice.

Do you have any headcanons about a Fitzsimmons wedding?

Hey, remember how you gave me this prompt, gosh, eight  months ago?? I’m so sorry, my friend. I’m the worst. But here’s what I’ve got:

Is Jemma the kind of girl who’s dreamed about her wedding her whole life?

YES

I mean, she never really planned on getting married, but it didn’t stop her from planning everything out

So when Fitz proposes, she’s ready to go

She’s picked out the dress (something long, simple, and elegant)

The venue (her uncle’s beautiful property)

Even the cake (square, decorated to vaguely suggest atoms and gears)

So when Mrs. Fitz tells her that his family has certain traditions, it gets a little complicated

I mean she expected the kilts, if course but,

Fitz has to ride in on a horse?

Their first dance has to be this complicated jig?

She starts to have some doubts as to whether this is going to go anything like she planned

But she loves Fitz, and she’s going to be part of his family. She’s going to start out on the right foot

So she drives herself crazy trying to figure out how to get dance lessons and where to procure a horse and tracking down the obscure kind of ale Mrs. Fitz insists upon

And Fitz just cocks his head at her and asks if she realizes this is all a joke

The true Fitz tradition is hazing the bride

No one expected Jemma to take it that far, but really, Fitz should have known

He feels so bad about it that he takes a much more active role in wedding planning

(He even manages to convince Jemma’s uncle that his Mediterranean cruise can wait another week)

And with the two of them working together, it all comes together quickly

The blessed day arrives before they know it

And everyone they love is there

Even Bobbi and Hunter!

And Trip who, as you recall, has been on vacation for a very long time (He maxed out on his vacation days and they basically forced him to take a three-years backpacking tour of … everywhere)

So even though Hunter accidentally leaves a elbow-shaped imprint in the cake

It really is the best day of their lives

(And they live happily ever after)
