Dead! is Dead :(
Honestly right now it hasn’t really sunk in as I’m so busy atm...
Let’s just say that I’m a tad devastated. The amount that they’ve already done as a band with a handful of singles, an EP and a killer first (and last) album is outstanding. It just means that this breakup/end of the band is worse than for a band that have had a fully fledged career. This makes the bands that I’ll never see live up to 2.
These guys were just getting started.
Thank you @wearedeaduk for the music, the care for your fans and this community (Damed Restless Future). The Golden Age of Not Even Trying is a stand-out first album, let alone all of the music that came before it. SMO is the song where it all started for me, I’m just sad that it had to end so soon.
Whilst I’m upset (and in denial) about this, I’m excited for the band members’ futures. Whatever they end up doing, I’ll be there eagerly waiting.
