before I even start my relisten, I need y'all to know the horrors my computer is putting me through.

this side blog doesn't appear within my list of sideblogs. I have to manually type in its name and search it up, which still doesn't bring me to it, but it brings me to the post on my main where I linked it, which is a functional link that brought me here so I could post.

2. I made two (2) excel sheets to keep track of all the info. one was for character names and descriptions, and the other was for the statements. the one for the statements is just gone. not anywhere to be found on my computer. and I KNOW I made and saved it because I took a screenshot afterwards to ask y'all if I should add any other relevant categories. screenshot's attached below and the question still remains, but the horrors persist.

what do you think cocona, papika, and yayaka's zodiac signs are?

whenever you someone says zodiac i always assume they mean chinese zodiac so when i got this i was like “...but they’re all in the same year..........” though technically these hc would put cocona under a different chinese zodiac anyway

i’m actually super unfamiliar with the western zodiacs but i do tend to get at least a season out of a person’s personality.

cocona’s very winter to me, like the cold mid to late weeks of january, so that would put her under capricorn.

papika is a lot more summer, but not like the drenching, stifling heat of july or august. no, it’s more like late may or early june, when school first gets out. so if i’m not mistaken that puts her under gemini

yayaka is mid-autumn, like the two middle weeks of october or the butt end of november. it’s one or the other, but not halloween season. she’s definitely not december. i’d peg it under october 20th or november 23rd so either a libra or saggitarius

that 2013ish era of American Apparel when they did basic crop tops and denim skater skirts, disco pants, tap dance shoes, tennis shoes etc will never not look good to me! The gurls just looked so crisp like yes thats exactly how i wanted to look on the first and second day of school after summer break. All the materials on those outfits felt so substantial to the touch like the no stretch denim and thick cotton like it lowkey was not comfy but i felt like it really held me together like armour in a way. And yea it felt so expensive in high school but in reality that shit really did not have to break the bank and u still looked really fuckin good like you didn’t try that hard. Now what are we doing: we are scrambling to find the row dupes at no less than 180$, buying secondhand designer has turned into stock market prediction vibe .. Let us go back to our humble roots

Straight up excited to be testing an alternative to Lancer’s Structure and Stress damage tables. The intention for them is “more disastrous, but less likely to kill you outright”, while maintaining a cohesive narrative throughout a mission. If you break your mech’s leg and you put it on a splint as a field repair, it oses the importance if it just fuckin’ breaks again, you know?

And so here I am with designs for alternate Stress/Structure, called Spikes & Ruin, that you spend Pilot Strain to resist. But if you roll the same result twice, the second time it gets worse. Your leg broke? Well, shit, next time it would, instead you’re losing a system or a weapon, your arm’s getting blown off instead. Unless you resist it and force it to scale back up.

By introducing more things that the Pilots have to spend their mental states on (we’ve already been Resisting Structure/Stress damage and it’s been AMAZING) we see players toeing the lines between feeling threatened or breezing through encounters. It’s been great in playtesting so far!
