Far Too Young To Die (Zombie fic)

Newt still hadn’t woken up at any point in the night and Thomas didn’t want to move. With his head resting against Newt’s chest he could hear his heartbeat. Could feel the slow rise and fall of his chest. Could feel his breath brushing against the back of his neck.

When he stayed like this he knew that Newt was still alive, so he was going to stay here until any one of those three things stopped.

Strumming on my Heart String (band fic)

“I think you might be at the wrong house.” Thomas tried not to glare up at him at his condescending tone, feeling even more of an outcast as Janson looked over his clothing choices with a raised eyebrow. “Invite only.”

“I was invited.” Thomas told him, leaving out the part that it had only been an hour ago and he kind of invited himself. Janson didn’t look convinced, opening up the checklist he had in his hands.

“Name?”

“Thomas.” Janson looked back up at him with the same irritated expression as before, looking like he was trying his best not to just force Thomas to leave there and then, rather than follow out his job. “Agnes.” He continued, once he realised there was probably more than one Thomas here tonight. “Thomas Agnes.”

Yeah I have! It’s called Strumming on my Heart Strings and its on AO3 here if you wanted to check it out.

It’s a Newt/Thomas fic that switches between those two POVs - Newt is in a band with Minho, Alby, Gally and Sonya and then Teresa, whose Thomas’ twin sister, wins two backstage passes to go meet them on tour and then everything happens from there!

Hi! I just found your newtmas fic on ao3, the band one and I saw that it hasn't been updated in a long time and I didn't want to start it if you weren't planning on writing any more, so I was just wondering if you've abandoned it or not?

Hello! I know that I haven’t updated that in a really long time, but I have every intention to post the next part to that as soon as I finish writing it. I just finished my first year of uni so now that I actually have some free time I can carry on with writing the next part! So no, it definitely hasn’t been abandoned - same with my other multi chapter fic that I haven’t updated in a while - I plan on carrying on with them now that I’m free!

Hi! So I just read your band fic AU this morning aaand got a bit confused. Cause from what I gather it was put up on AO3 in october, but you did not put a link to the fic on your Tumblr till february? And then I saw the anon ask saying it had been updated (which to be precise was what confused me) and now I just want to be certain: There is not a second chapter hidden somewhere right? But apart from that thank you - I loved it!

I can see why you got a bit confused! I posted part one of the fic in October and that’s also when I put a link on tumblr, I just reblogged that post the other day which I guess is why it looks like I only just linked to it! 

About the anon, do you mean this ask? Because from what I gathered I think they were referring to this ask I’d answered a few days before where someone was asking if I could post a kind of sneak peak thing at what’s happening in part two! So no, there isn’t a secret chapter hidden anywhere, apart from the one that i’m writing at the minute! I’m glad you liked it though, thank you for reading!

okay yo! i'm the blue somhs anon and when i said "somhs is a+" I actually meant "somhs is great and i wanna talk about it but I'm too tried for it rn" so here i am. also, idk how ao3 works so im just sending it to your tumblr but im on my phone and

tumblr makes a mess of asks anyways, so I'm sorry in advance tbh. anyways. somhs. my love. i literally read it 3 times idek how or why - I actually do know why, bc it's great!!! amazayn. like I'm a sucker for sibling bonds and you write the dynamicbetween BOTH teresa x thomas and newt x sonya so great and I??? man I'm in love. also i completely agree if a couple gladers would start some slightly badass nd populair band with a touring van minho would suggest painting their faces on it 100% sureyou can't convince me Otherwise. just the characterisation and dynamics between everyone in general tbh. like. damn. damn is the only word i can use to describe it. like my god i could totally see them doing a karaoke contest w/ Fans they met like 3hours ago and then uploading it to YouTube. though it probably helps when two of the band members are crushing on those fans tbh. thts another point - minho and teresa?? i know that ship tho I'm not really familiar w/ it but I'm rooting for it ok.

Hey! I have no idea how to respond to this omg, thank you so much! I’m so glad you like it, you read it three times?! that’s amazing omg. It’s so cool to see that you think the dynamics work well, I was kind of worried about that aspect of it actually, so that’s awesome to see you think that worked! It’s also cool to see you like the characterisation of everyone else as well, because i’m always really worried that i’m messing that up, so thank you!

I just feel like Minho would want to go all out and be like ‘why have just the band name on the tour bus, when you can put giant pictures of us on the side!’ because he’s proud of them and he wants to show the world how awesome they are. Slightly drunken sibling karaoke though was just something I had to add in because I just thought it would be fun and just Minho likes to document things that they do on his youtube channel so obviously drunken karaoke was something that had to go on there!

I honestly don’t know where my love of Minho/Teresa came from? But I do kind of love it, so it’s cool to see you’re rooting for that! Even though we don’t get to see either of their point of view, Minho thinks she’s pretty cool, and you already know that Teresa really likes him, so who knows, maybe that’ll happen! (it’s probably gonna happen - more like definitely but still) But yeah, thank you so much! Literally just come talk to me about it whenever!
