I made a post a while back about Shadow and Silver being father and son in a Sonic Boom AU, and here’s something I think would be really fun. If it were a game or show, there would most definitely be some hints of them being father and son before it’s confirmed by them that seem so obvious, yet are overlooked just because. One of those hints are;
Sonic: Why are you suddenly being nice to us?
Shadow: I’m not. It’s my job to support Silver in whatever he does, unless it’s too dangerous. If it means getting along with you, then fine.
And if Shadow were to give up his life for the sake of the others, I’d love for his last words to be “I’d say make me proud, but you’ve already done that. From the moment you opened your eyes.” while making eye contact with Silver. Or if they’re talking through a call or something, he calls Silver’s name before saying that.
