After seeing Sonic and Shadow's awesome new pirate costumes in Forces Battle, I wanted to draw Sokudo wearing parts of said costumes x3 Since he's around 4 in this picture, he's pretty much playing 'dress up' and doesn't quite know how to put everything on properly! Felt like drawing a cute scenario pic with Sonic, Shadow and Sokudo~

After watching Chao in Space again, I wanted to attempt to draw the Chao Garden shown in it, but I'm not quite sure on how it turned out, since I suck at digital backgrounds really x3; I also experimented with a somewhat new shading technique on the hedgies, but I'll definitely need to work on it!

Anywho though, here Sokudo is learning how to take his first steps and Sonic helps to keep him stable, since he's a bit wobbly! Shadow, who is feeling like a proud papa, also helps by holding out his hand, ready to take Sokudo's and help him further ^^

Since Sokudo has some of Sonic's DNA, he is often quite the troublemaker! And as Sonic isn't a good influence on Sokudo, Shadow always ends up having to clean up the mess x3 After taking part in a seemingly 'legal' hoverboard race across Station Square, Sonic and Sokudo end up getting caught by Shadow and he's not happy, to say the least! After going for a walk across Emerald Coast with Sokudo one evening, Shadow notices that the little hedgehoglet was getting sleepy and decided to head back to his and Sonic's apartment. Since the first night that Sonic and Shadow had found Sokudo, both hedgehogs felt a strong connection to the baby and ensured to protect him at all costs. Shadow, in particular, wanted to be a father-like figure for the infant, as he was unable to produce offspring of his own... but, he would never openly reveal this to Sonic. After watching a playthrough of Sonic Riders again, I felt like drawing an OC in the Riders' art style and decided on Sokudo :3 I really like how this one came out, though I admit that I got a bit impatient on drawing the shading lines ^^; Anywho though, I figured that Sokudo would use shoes as his main choice of transportation, which were similiar to the Shinobi shoes in Zero Gravity, since I have such a guilty pleasure with using them all of the time x3 Sokudo (c) Me
