Another quick prompt art from @bluebrush09arts‘s Discord server, themed for fathers day. So I drew my Vampire Dads Squad. xD  Clockwise from the top we gots: Starling Silver (Lapis’s dad); Zikomo (Zerukova’s dad); Duke von Hannoversher (father figure to Light and Shift); and Sonar Pulse (Justice’s dad).

Was a good reason to draw the dads in my cast~

Oh Sonar, you massive goob~ It’s been about 20-some years since he was made a vampire pony; it goes without saying that it’s been a long time since he’s gotten to see Morn in concert formal like they used to before the attack.

I’m hoping to get to some actual event drawings but given my IRL obligations, I might be getting to them late. xD But yes! Sonar and Morn getting ready to attend the @annualponyprom! A huge thank you to @a-darling-world for the beautiful dress design that I had a tough time doing due justice and am very grateful for!~ <3

Third Night in the Empire or The Beauty of the Night

The last evening of the event, the Canterlot couple wandered away from the bustle of the promenade itself and found a slice of the evening sky cloven by shimmering streaks of light.

“So, where are we going this evening, Sonar?” “Uhhh...”

He might be a vampony and a dad who’s more confident now, but young Sonar was a total dork. The first time he picked up lovely Morning Song for a date, he had a hard time getting his mouth and his brain to communicate, never mind actually talking to Morn himself. He eventually stopped stumbling all over himself but goodness sakes he was just so starstruck for like the first hour of the evening.

To this day he still wonders, how did a sound-magitechnician like him wind up with such a gorgeous Canterlotite composer?

Sonar Pulse Refsheet 2018 edition~

Needed to update my anti-vampony vampony’s ref for some time now. It’s been about a year and a half since I initially drew him. As it has been for many of the others, it’s a CM update/cleaned-version that prompted the ref update. I really wanna get the big project I’m doing with all these updated ref images done; it’s nothing super fancy but it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. xD As it stands I have a little over half of the SotN cast done, and most of my ponified crew.

What are the regenerative capabilities of vampires? Can you regenerate from any injury? Can a town keep eating chunks off you that will regenerate endlessly, and the town will never go hungry? You can end starvation! And does the same thing go for your blood? Can they keep pumping blood out of you to always have something to drink, and put you in an irrigation canal while keeping your wounds permanent to keep watering the crops? Could you flood the world?

Okay here is a random question out of all your pony oc's who is the most manly?

Oof that’s a toughie. How are we defining “manly”? I classify Sonar, Dagger, Silence, Duke, and Berihun as having the most “manly” traits out of all the stallions I have.

Sonar is “dad manly”, Dagger is “militant manly”, Silence is “silent-type manly”, Duke is “intellectual manly”, and Berihun is “leadership manly”. 

Though to be honest it’s not really something I actively think about. xD
