In Teheran fragte mich ein Kollege, ob nicht aus kulturvergleichender und religionssoziologischer Sicht die europäische Säkularisierung der eigentliche Sonderweg sei, der einer Korrektur bedürfe. Das erinnert an die Stimmungslage der Weimarer Republik, an Carl Schmitt, Martin Heidegger oder Leo Strauß.
