I rang my broadband provider today. We’re on a promotional rate at the moment and part the reduction was up after 6 months which was in December. I rang them up and simply asked as a gesture of good will and in the name of developing good customer service would they reinstate the €5 discount. Well low and behold it worked!!!! It’s not much but for the sake of a quick (free) phone call we get same service for less. Lessons learned- it’s always worth it to at least as the question 😊 I’m not sure if I would have made the call if I wasn’t doing The Year if Less But Better.
