Goten had been playing rough outside and had torn his favorite changsan. Now he was sitting on the floor, playing with his doors and enjoying some juice.

“All done.” She finished the last stitch, “Good as new!”

    The padding of bare feet upon bamboo was a sure sign that Flan had been approaching the door. It was rather assumptive of him to assume that Goten would be visiting, yet, he always seemed to be right in such assumptions, excitedly babbling to Burter about how Goten was going to play with him again, or even take him out of the house for a little while.

    A wide smile stretches across his lips, turning to greet the voice that just walked through the door of the apartment. He’d had a few hours to himself-- Jeice out doing something-or-other, leaving Burter to his own, quiet devices. The entire apartment seemed to be enveloped in a sleepy haze, blankets and pillows strewn all about the floor, illuminated if only by the dim light of string lights hanging upon the walls, and the screen of the TV set within an armoire.

   ❛ Of course, kid, ❜ he pats a pillow resting beside him. ❛ I’ll play Yoshi, though. ❜
