Did you know…?

Despite him being colored as a darker skin color in any previous official art, mobile game Sonic Blitz shows his 3D render as pale white?

This is because, as shown in his official character wiki page description, the Sonic Blitz’s Ray is not the same character as the one in all previous games

This is a reference to how Mighty the armadillo sold his and Ray’s soul to the devil to have a playable role in Sonic Mania, and ever since they’ve both been replaced by soulss copies made of rubber and salt. They’re both creatures of evil that eat babies and cause ecocide, while the real characters have been dead since the release of Sonic Mania Plus
