Blind Sonic

So I was thinking, what if Sonic became blind after the first couple of times of using his speed because of the wind pressure and debris that would without a doubt go to and damage his eyes since he doesn’t have any appropriate protections like goggles, and he keeps it a secret from everyone because he doesn’t want to be pitied or considered weak. So he relies in his enhanced sences to guide himself through life and battles, that would mean that when he puts his hands on the floor when making a turn and starting to run is not only to help him slow down or start running more easilly but also so he can feel where the robots are thanks to their heavy steps. Also, it could mean that his fear of water is because of the fact that in it he is unable to properly hear or hold on to anything leaving him completely powerless, ironically and utterly in the dark.

doing poetry revision right now but just

thinking about making more dudes like homage that are diff versions of metal.

- one SHOULD be able to fly. most likely just playful with tails, was created as a means of distraction so sonic shows up on his own. in turn tails would prob just take them and look into them more (which sucks, bc if this is homage timeline tails would die before finishing up trying to get this lil guy onto the good side SOB). has an angelic appearance. is more spindly or sharp, moves swiftly sort of like a hummingbird or sprite thing. probably doesnt speak just makes little squeak or whirring noises.

- homage is already the juggernaut one, has something like mega metal sonic but with more grinding elements that mimic teeth, is meant to appear more like a feral animal. naturally though homage was meant to be able to fix itself and change its parts depending on what it saw as a weakness of sonics, which got translated as shapeshifting. homage is not really fluffy. since this would be difficult for sonic to take down, higher chance if it was a diff way inclined and the concept got finished, knuckles would be the one who would fight it instead of sonic. homage was... ALSO NOT EMOTIONAL BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION! PROGRAMMING IT TO CHANGE OVER TIME AND ADAPT TO ITS SURROUNDINGS PROBABLY MEANT COPYING EMOTIONAL RESPONSES AND HAVING CONVERSATIONS, IT DOES SO IN A WAY THAT... SOUNDS LIKE A BABY LEARNING THOUGH HAHAHA.

- a robot that can withstand water would be cool, also would make water areas 10x more stressful! WHAHAHAH. im unsure of how this would go but would most likely have fins that could fold in and out so it could move between different surroundings, has a reflective body to mimic the waters easier perhaps or is even made a plastic of sorts so its more see through, though im unsure of what to do with this. theres probably a few of these that exist and roam around to take advantage of sonics fear of water.

- the original metal still exists and survives in this au! its set in cd but homage surprisingly doesnt see it as a threat (maybe due to coding by eggman before the incidents), therefore nothing happens to him. homage probably just gets really attached to him later after the main cast gets punted and theres hardly anything left of the game, like when its just left as a sort of wasteland and metal is the only thing (besides mazin whos hiding WHAHAH) that still reminds homage of sonic.
