*LOTR meme* After all, why shouldn't I? Why shouldn't I share this infamous piece of Sonic fandom history? Contrary to popular belief, this is not from an official comic. This is page number 15 of issue 2 of the fancomic Sonic Eggs, part of the greater Emerald Coast Comics, of which I was one of the various colorists involved. I forget who Sonic Eggs was written by and due to most of the site being gone I'm having difficulty finding it - I was to say it was nuckles87? Please correct me if I'm wrong. In any event, Sonic Eggs was meant to serve as a fan continuation of the Sonic X comic in much the same spirit as StC-O and ASO are for Sonic the Comic and Pre-Reboot Archie respectively. Also contrary to popular belief, that is not Shadow. It's one of his android clones who had a very different personality from the real Shadow. His name was Shades and he was a sensitive happy-go-lucky softie. Tracy Yardley was commissioned to pencil several of its pages with Ben Hunzeker commissioned as their colorist. Due to circumstances, Hunzeker was unable to complete all of Yardley's pages, and thus I was chosen for the privilege. This was actually one of two of Yardley's pages I was privileged to color. Little did I know the impact this page would end up having on the fandom.
