Let’s do this one more time.
Hi! I’m TheBookSmithGentleman (or just Smith, if you prefer), and I’m excited to finally announce a long-term Sonic AU project I’ve been quietly developing:
SONIC FATEBOUND
Sonic Fatebound is a narrative-driven AU centered on four characters I deeply admire:
Knuckles, Shadow, Blaze, and Silver.
Each of them gets their own self-contained story — no Sonic as backup, no easy outs. These are stories about isolation, responsibility, and what it means to be a guardian of something bigger than yourself.
Every arc introduces new antagonists designed to challenge their core beliefs, forcing them to make hard choices that test who they really are.
This project is meant to be a love letter to fans of these four characters, and to what they represent in the Sonic franchise.
Roadmap:
– Main format: Written fanfiction (with occasional illustrations)
– One story at a time to avoid eternal WIP hell
– First arc: Blaze the Cat – Chaos Winter
– After that, readers will vote on whether Silver, Shadow, or Knuckles goes next
I’m trying to be realistic, patient, and actually finish something meaningful — even if the audience is small.
