📖SUMMARY: Sonic Free the Hedgehog (“The Blue Blur”) has an early birth history clouded in mystery and unknown parental origin other than the fact that he was born in and is a native to Christmas Island where he calls the Green Hill fields his home. A lover of high-speed action, adventure and surprisingly, books, he is never stationed in one place for too long, often traveling the world on missions or journeys either to defeat his long-term nemesis, mad scientist Dr. Eggman or simply to sight see. Due to his many heroic actions and endeavors, he has earned the titular title of “hero” and from his super-speed prowess, “the fastest thing alive”.

🗒️ARTIST NOTE: The first of my Sonic the Hedgehog redesigns I've been doing for fun and for my own imaginative world. My love for the series resurfaced after meeting my former co-worker now buddy after I had stopped being a fan of the series for so long. The design idea is to make the characters have more humanoid proportions fitting for an anime and manga style while avoiding the uncanniness that comes from doing so. Especially from their disproportionate heads often appearing too large for a regular body. As such, I kept from highlighting too much muscle and focused on a short, stocky and compact body. For the outfit, I drew inspiration from a race car racer's tracksuit and sportswear, tight fitting to prevent drag and, for personal reasons, accentuate the body (I love me some curves). A checkered pattern was added to his outfit to resemble the checkered flags and iconography of racing. The shoe design was inspired and based off of Apprehensive_Turn748's "Chaos Kicks" shoe design for Sonic on Reddit. I plan on adding more detailing or changing up the design to become something more of my own in the future. The zippers was a 'hault couture' choice I made to add some flashy flair to the arrogant and stand outish "Blue Blur" inspired by Moschino's zipper earrings and the rings were a no-brainer for me as they are as iconic to the Sonic series as the pokeball is to Pokémon. I believe I did a good job in the execution of the points and loved how it turned out.

#15: I'm (Still) A Believer from The Monkees Sonic Freeloaders Riders hey Hey HEY! YeeeeEEEEEEAAAAAH-- Mhm~ BLUG-HEAAAAUGH~~~ The weekends are here, I got most of my studies out of the way, the next couple of days seem very hopeful and full of freedom, I feel upbeat, I might as well post a piece of music that knows how I feel today. Excessively happy to the point of nausea! This track features a guy that screams "HEY" in multiple pitches, emphasizes his "YEAH"s and attempts to make spooky ghost noises in the vain attempt to add some mood-whiplashing horror into his happy streak. This track features a few guys who yell at each other to drop it off, or drop the ball, or jump it off, or trump it up, or drum pinups, or something. And they make sure to hammer in that message by repeating it over and over and over and over and over again as if it were a prerecorded sound clip! There's a guy who can't see or hear anybody, and apparently can't speak very well, given his slurred speech. Nobody takes care of the poor guy who's clearly pleading for help. Last, but not least, this track may or may not feature a reunion by The Monkees teasing lyrics to a potentially revised, modernized remix of one of their most beloved songs! If you all think i'm feeling quite insane in the membrane today, then you're not completely off the ball park there. But, before I leave you all to listen to this bizzarely happy track while I check myself in a clinic for the weekend, I would like to ask this: are you a believer?
