3. favorite POV (first/second/third/etc)
hahahaha SECOND. you caught me. ok no i feel like i've talked a lot about how much i love writing in second person before so i guess i wasn't that sneaky. i don't do it a lot, largely because i like it specifically with a certain sort of story that i haven't found myself writing recently, but i enjoy it a bunch. third person is a close second. first is waaaaaaaay way back there in last, i feel weirdly uncomfortable writing in first person.
skipping 5 because i did that one and it's not the kind of thing i can really dig up more answers for
11. what are your weaknesses wrt writing?
on top of the things i mentioned before: god, like, plot. i'm astoundingly bad at plots that go beyond "person navigates a relationship, feels some things." pacing is also a weak spot for me, although i'm definitely working on it.

4. what are some themes you love writing about?
in addition to the stuff i listed earlier, i love BEST FRIENDSHIPS, both effortlessly positive ones and ones that are harder and require active work. i also love to write people struggling with ambiguity and an inability to categorize/articulate.
8. is there a character you love writing for the most? the least? why?
oh jeez, i have SUCH a type when it comes to characters i enjoy writing the most. or two types, i guess. the one i find easiest is kind-of-angry, introverted, abrasive types, not so much because i'm like them myself (although i guess i can be) but because it's the sort of headspace i find it easiest to slip into when i'm writing their pov, for whatever reason. the type i ENJOY most is probably the kate bishop type. i was trying to elaborate on that but yeah, no, that sums it up pretty well, i think: kate bishop and those like her.
characters i enjoy writing the least in any given fandom are usually more stoic, ~strong-willed~ leader-y types, i think honestly just because that sort of headspace feels so foreign to me. although i definitely have one specific character i like to write LEAST OF ALL, whirl from the transformers comics, because i spent months trying to start a story from his pov and i just cannot figure it out at all. maybe one day i will CONQUER IT YET. (probably not.)

2. favorite tense (past/present/future)
i typically write in present, since it's kind of the default with fic. but sometimes past too. i've never ever worked exclusively in future tense!
4. what are some themes you love writing about?
coming of age is my favourite hands down. also found families and weird co-dependent relationships. sometimes all at once.
8. is there a character you love writing for the most? the least? why?
i really love writing toph beifong! generally, i love writing ppl who are really loved and bright, but are lonely on the inside. i don't really have a least favourite character to write, though there are definitely some that i just find impenetrable and hard to characterize.
thank you so much for sending me this! (^▽^)/
