Hi, I loved your recent dinluke sketch dump but it was REALLY difficult for me to read the text. I couldn't read it at all without a touchscreen. Would you consider putting the frames into more boxes (I don't even know if this is the right way to explain that??? sorry!) I would love to be able to read it on my desktop.

hey! i’ll keep that in mind for the future, though it does make formatting more difficult for me and limits the amount i can upload. in the meantime, it is possible to right click the image and open it in a new tab on desktop (just right click and select the open in new image tab) and that opens a screen that you can magnify and shows the image in full size. I also ID all my art now, so there a description of the text is either in the main post or the first reblog after the main post! i hope that helps! ♥♥♥ ( also you have to first click on the image so it’s in foreground with the rest of the dash in shadow, if you know what I mean. THEN you open in new tab, you can’t just do it from the post.)

10) In your The Void fic, why did you decide to end it like that? Did you have an alternative ending in mind?

When I first started writing I had a vague ending in mind and since I wrote and posted on the fly the fic just evolved organically with what felt right and that vague goal in mind. This also meant that when I got stuck after chapter 2 I wasn’t sure where to take it to get to the ending I had in mind. But luckily a friendly neighborhood @jedimordsith helped walk me through my block and I was able to finish. I did think about ending it differently, only because I love happy endings, but this was a horror story so I stuck with the first idea I had. Spoiler Alert! Everybody is dead, Mara is crazed and Shirlee is alone.

This makes me think that I usually have an ending in mind and most often will have it as a goal before anything else gets figured out and that I don’t change my mind.

19) Are there any stories that you’ve written that you’d really love to do a sequel to?

I’m going to assume that this is not for stories in a series as I have sequels for Crossing A Line and Because the Night already started. But as Crossing is the first story in the series and The Night is the last part of the same series, I guess the sequel for The Night counts? Anyway, that’s the only story I can think of that needs a sequel. I left poor Luke and Mara very sexually frustrated in that fic and they need some uninterrupted alone time. All the others are just drabbles or one-shots that feel complete as they are. I also tend to think of most of my stories as belonging to the JadeDjo-verse unless very AU.

I do believe that @celinamarniss hinted that she would like to know more about what 2 certain Jedi were doing in a dark corridor of the Yavin IV Temple that was hinted at in I Get Off......so, someday?

49) Can you remember the first fic you read? What was it about?

uhhhhhhhh....no? This was 20+ years ago mind you. I just know that it was probably something to do with The X-Files. I found fanfic for that first before anything else.

I don't know if we'll ever be told how old they are SUPPOSED to be, but *I* can tell you that Kala and Capheus are 24 and Lito and Sun are 32. Riley's 28, Will...could be anything, Bingo free space. Wolfgang is either 22 or 35, no in between. Who is left. Oh Nomi is 29 and she thinks about it.

(Amanita is 26 and never thinks about it; Hernando is 33 and uses this when he assures Lito that being another year older will be fiiiine, it just makes you more distinguished, and adjusts his glasses where he's reading in bed)

I am not planning a complicated meal, but I am roasting myself a simple Cornish hen and attempting a cranberry pie!

I roasted myself a little Cornish hen my first Alone Thanksgiving in New York City!! Oh, to all [JFK voice but specifically the version from Clone High] ~my fellow Americans~ kicking it family-less this year, I am here to tell you from two-time past experience that this is the IDEAL version of this holiday. Just a big ol’ four day weekend to yourself to nap, eat, send money to whatever fundraiser your local Indian nation has going on, and nap and eat some more. I think it was my second one where I had the idea to pile a bunch of mashed potatoes into a pie plate and then just eat out of my lap on the couch.

Pal you and me both, pre this very month. They are most like a pear, I think, but with a different fragrance. It is nice!
