hi. haven’t posted anything for a while but(!!!!) i’ve started listening to the silt verses (i’m on episode 13) aaaand what can i say.
1) wow this queer horror podcast really stresses the horror part huh (i feel like it’s the tma horror and ch&t horror combined and increased)
2) for the first episode thought that carpenter’s religion is an outlawed cult in a regular world (which would be interesting. like if the existence of the trawler man remained a mystery for the whole show) and then when she mentioned that in school they learned about normal gods like the god of electricity i genuinely thought it was just a part of the deprogramming(?) like they needed a clear explanation of how the world works so they got it in a form of deities but there’s actually no of them. so anyway
3) speaking of deities, the most horrifying episode so far was the first episode of Paige (i don’t remember the number but it was about the sacrifice at her workplace) what i nightmare world, it’s like magnus archives season 5 but with capitalism. and i get that it mirrors the actual reality and omg it’s scarier than anything in fiction.
4) brother faulkner being trans (i suppose) while being a follower of the trawler man who’s being the god of changing and transforming???? neat. i mean im not sure if it his main thing but i get the feeling that this a significant part of his domain aside from fivers and drowning.
5) also. didn’t like faulkner at first but i think he’s growing on me.
that’s it, please talk to me about this podcast but please no spoilers after the episode 13!!
