and i was right!! he’s much younger than most in boris’s. line of work shall we say. and he does look up to boris a lot and speaks like literally no english. his nickname is Shirley Temple and theo couldn’t be assed to learn his real name (but it’s implied that shirley wanted theo’s approval and theo was too hyper focused on his painting and his boyfriend to notice or care)

anyway shirley is just a nickname so if you want to name him he’s up for grabs, i think he’s slavic in the book though i don’t know where from exactly (im not calling my son shirley!! help please he must have a name)
