I wanted to do this trend with hideo because I think it suits him

explanation and more drawings below!

Anyway so the two guys here are both hideo but in different circumstances

Hideo’s lore is that he lived in a small village (think of like a farming village, no ninja training blah blah blah) and one day he was exploring the forest where he encountered rogue ninja (ninja that abandoned their village due to treason etc) and when these ninja met hideo They decided to raid his village and take over (which unfortunately was successful due to lack of defense).

The main reason hideo survived that was because his mother was a former ninja of the leaf village (she’s retired) and was able to bring hideo to the leaf and let them rescue him (however she went back and died along with hideo’s dad) So because he got rescued, he’s the hideo we currently know today

But the long hair hideo is what could’ve happen if the leaf didn’t rescue him (the rogue ninja caught up, I don’t know exactly yet) and the rogue ninja brought him back to the village. He’d probably would’ve been used as a tool of power to keep the villagers in check blah blah and would be manipulated since he was amnesiac like in the og universe. When he regains his memory back though, he fight back and slimes out the rogue ninja lol and basically liberated the villagers. After that, he left the village and wanders around the land of fire aimlessly.

i would like to make content of this version of hideo, to go in depth but this is all I got lol

story time ig

so at 2am today, i was drawing in my sketchbook because i couldnt sleep. I drew shino and hideo (which ill probably post later) and everything was fine until i brush my foot against the bottom of my desk and felt something unusual.

originally, i brushed it off but when i didnt feel that feeling again, i scooted out the desk and saw a cockroach on one of my drawers

it was too dark with my only source being my lamp and i didnt have my glasses on so i sat there frozen for like 3 minutes trying to figure out if my eyes were playing tricks on me and i realized it was crawling up the drawers and it soon crawled into the darkness

to be honest, a little pet peeve of mine is when i see fanart of a character with distinctly voluminous (?? idk if thats the right word) or spiky hair (ex. gintoki, naruto, kakashi) and they flatten the hair completely
