Patchwork Family

That one special moment in life never quite turned out how it was supposed to. It never went as imagined and that was why it was better to ban hope from your life while you can. Hope, wishes and dreams were dangerous and honestly a waste of time. Ashley knew that now, but unfortunately she’d found out too late. Not even Sam could help now, and Sam always knew how to cheer her up. They’d grown very close in the past few weeks and she trusted Sam (and Dean) with her life, but in this case there was nothing he could do. She’d met her father finally, but Ash Williams was a prick and not even close to the father she imagined him to be all her life. All those stories her mother fed her when she was little were nonsense and she couldn’t even tell her how wrong she was.
Ashley had retreated to her room, and she was sat on her bed with her legs drawn up to her chest. She wasn’t in the mood to talk, or to do anything other than …sulk. She wasn’t like that usually, but meeting her father had really really hurt her.
