it has been a month from that faithful day. she had found a young Fuchsia wandering the shore of her land, he looked upset with tears falling from young eyes. when she went to see what he was doing on her land a knight next to her ready for the kill when she gave the signal. but she never gave it when the young one looked up at her. she saw his eyes full of hate and sadness. kneeling down she spoke with him. “Little one, what is the matter? who has made your eyes fill with tears?” she asked as she gently wiped a tear from the trolls eye. Flinching a bit the young troll backed away from her and swatted her hand away. “why should i tell you anything about myself?” he asked as he jabbed a finger at the knight. “you’re with a lower cast troll” he yelled with a snarl in his voice. his tears falling to the sand as he did as he looked away from her. Soobek looked at the troll she brought with her and smirked at them. “he is nothing to me, just a pawn” she said as she waved her hand at the water. “yes my queen” the knight said with a bow. dropping his weapons and strife at her feet he walked to the water and soon the murky water was now a lovely shade of teal before it was washed away.

the troll looked at her with a surprised look on his face when the knight was killed in the water. “now young one” she asked her voice calm and and gentle as she sat on her knees in front of the troll. “what brings you to my waters?” she asked. 

after a while of just mutual talking the troll finally told her what was on his mind. a Violet blood Named Haides was fornicating with a disgusting gold blood and when he found out that beast was Haides’s matesprit he left him in his hive. and he just walked, not caring where he was going but followed the water.

Soobek was quiet while the young one was telling her about the other and once he was done she calmly looked at him with a gentle smile. “would you like to get back at him?” she asked him. he looked at her confused before hugging his knees. “i don’t kill high blood’s” he said flatly before a gentle hand was on his cheek. looking up at her Soobek just had a sharp toothed grin. “i am not talking about the high blood, i was talking about the gold” she said and that made the young troll’s find perk up. “because if you do, i can teach you everything i know”. her voice was sickly sweet and dripped with danger that any troll would be able to detect.

but he just smiled at her as he nodded. “teach me everything” he said before he got up. “and my name” he said as Soobek got up and lightly dusted the sand off of her skirt, she perked up when he mentioned that. she had forgotten to ask him about his name again. “it’s Enkeli” he said proudly.

Sobeek smiled and laughed a bit. “what a charming name.” she said as she held her hand out to him. “then lets go to my castle Enkeli, your training starts now”. when he took her hand she lead him to her castle where she taught him a few easy things. 

manipulation, intimidation as well as finding a trolls weakness it maybe mental, physical, or spiritual. she taught it all to him.

one night Soobek was carrying Enkeli while he talked about how he manipulated one of her servants into drinking tea made from a puffer fish. she happily congratulated him as he played with the horns from that servant. “i am proud of you Enkeli” she said as she set him down as they got closer to a door.

it was a door that Sobeek told Enkeli to never open unless she was there when she first took him under her wing. “i think you’re ready for whats behind this door.” she said as she pulled a key out of the pocket of her shirt.

Enkeli was excited as he hopped from one foot to the next. “show me show me show me!!” he happily yelled only making Soobek laugh. “alright alright” she said as she opens the door. inside was a stair case that lead down to the lower levels of the castle. even from here the two can hear the water lightly splashing what ever confined it. “follow” was all Soobek said as she made her way down the stairs with Enkeli following close at her heels. the stairs ended and soon lead down a long hall.

at this point Enkeli was getting impatient with the waiting but he stayed with Soobek not wanting to get lost. as they got closer to the end the sound of water got louder and louder. “hope you’re ready for your new playground” Soobek said as she shoved the final door open.

the room was bigger than any room in the castle, even bigger than the ball room that Sobeek trained Enkeli in when they used weapons. it had a light glow to it from the water but also lights from the agile that was on the walls. what Caught Enkeli’s attention was the cages that hung from the ceiling, and it was clear to him that all the cages had trolls in them. 

“go for a swim so you can get used to the maze, if you get lost just dive down deeper to find the arrows leading to the exit” Soobek said as she sat on a throne near the waters edge. “and when you’re ready i will let you play a game of Hide N’ kill”. she had smirked as she pointed up to the trolls. “oh and don’t worry, they are alive”
