Soobin × Lucas Headcanon

This and the DiJun headcanon piggy backs off of @strawberrysoob 's social media au

Ok so here's the thing about SooCas

At first, Soobin finds Lucas VERY attractive but doesn't pursue anything because he thinks Lucas is straight (he hangs out with a lot, like...a lot of girls. And they all hang off him and he seems to be enjoying the attention but really he just likes being babied)

They don't have class together or even have the same friend group (or so Soobin thinks) so they never interact

Then one night, out of the blue, he shows up to D&D because Wheein is his sunbae and she invited him

And Soobin really didn't want to like him because he just recently broke up with Yeonjun and if he's honest (and he's really not) Lucas kind of reminds him of Yeonjun.

But Lucas is so fucking charismatic without even trying

He laughs easily and smiles genuinely and he has those big puppy eyes

And he's so FUCKING LOUD

Always shouting his excitement when something cool happens during a session and Soobin is hopelessly endeared by it all. The whole group is.

And THEN Lucas' D&D character starts flirting with Soobin's and Soobin is trying AND FAILING not to read into it too much

Soobin gets so much anxiety about this that he starts making excuses not to come to the sessions.

Lucas catches him in the cafe one night and confronts him about missing D&D.

Before Soobin can lie, Yeonjun shows up and Soob uses him as an excuse to escape.

After that, Jihyo texts Soobin telling him to stop being a Weeniehut Junior and come to the sessions.

So Soobin shows up but Lucas isn't there and when he asks why, Wheein says he had a frat thing tonight

Did I mention Lucas is in a frat?

Lucas is in a frat.

Anyway

Lucas keeps missing sessions because of some frat thing and now Soobin is starting to feel guilty and Wheein is getting frustrated for some reason

So Soobin hears that Lucas' frat is throwing a party. He goes because he's 90% Lucas will be there and he doesn't know his schedule otherwise

At the party Lucas is again surrounded by girls but this time he doesn't look like he's enjoying himself

But then his eyes land on Soobin and

Holy shit it's like the sun turned on

He's immediately in Soobin's personal space and Soobin has NO idea what to do with this sudden and flattering attention. Especially since he didn't dress like he was going to a frat party.

Anyway, Soobin tells Lucas that the D&D party misses him and that if he could, he should try and come back.

Lucas, who is high off the fact that Soobin is there in front of him and so goddamn cute and pretty much confessing that he misses him...kisses him right fucking then and there.

And HOLY SHIT Lucas is an excellent kisser

So good.

Sinfully good.

He does this thing with his tongue where it caresses Soobin's tongue and, oh shit, Soobin is getting hot all fucking over.

It's so good, Soobin has a goddamn panic attack (and honestly, he really needs to go to therapy and/or take something for that)

Lucas, for all that he looks like he has an empty head and no thoughts, picks up exactly what's happening. So he takes Soobin outside and walks him through some breathing exercises to calm him down

And fuck Soobin didn't think Lucas could get any hotter.

Lucas tries to stay with him but he's called to DD some ppl home (as a hoobae that's his job at these parties) so he gives Soob his phone number and says he'll be right back.

So Soobin waits for Lucas by wondering around the party. At some point, someone shoves a drink in his hand and like an idiot, he drinks it without question

And the next thing he knows, he wakes up in a stranger's room, with no clothes on.

He pukes

Gets dressed

And calls Yeonjun

And then pukes again

And that's when Lucas shows up with breakfast and Soob realizes, he's in Lucas' room.

He escapes and just as he's fleeing the frat house, yeonjun arrives driving someone's car (Chan's)

Soobin does not tell Yeonjun what happened even though Yeonjun is literally begging

Lucas keeps blowing up Soobin's phone to the point where Soob just turns it off.

Soob cries for literally a week and a half straight. Yeonjun is there taking care of him the whole time which makes Soobin feel EVEN MORE SHITTY

Finally, Wheein marches in and explains to Soob that it didn't go down the way he thought it went down

When asked how she knew, she explains that she arrived right around the time whatever Soobin drank hit his system. She recognized what was happening, took him to Lucas's room, at which point, Soobin insisted it was too hot and started stripping. Wheein managed to convince him to at least keep his briefs on (but he must have kicked them off when she left)

Lucas didn't even go back to his room until that morning (with breakfast)

When Yeonjun asked what took her so long to some by and explain she said she didn't even know what dorm Soobin lived in (there were multiple buildings in front of the woods where they went looking for a drunk Yeonjun that one time) and Soobin's phone was off and on top of that, she was consoling a distraught Lucas.

ON TOP OF THAT someone tipped campus police that someone had been drugged at the frat's party and there was a whole investigation underway

And oh fuck, is Soobin embarrassed

And to make things worse, that's when Lucas walks in!

Wheein practically drags Yeonjun out of Soobin's dorm

After an awkward few minutes (soon has never seen Lucas this quiet) they both apologize

Soobin tries to trivialize the whole thing and Lucas isn't having any of it.

In fact, Lucas makes Soobin schedule an appointment with a campus therapist right then and there.

And then he takes care of Soobin for the rest of the day

And then the rest of the semester

And then like..for the rest of his life.
