Previously, on Flavors of Midnight...

About 7 years ago, an 18-year-old Jared Frio pulls Frida Goth out of the water and saves her life. Frida never found out who saved her.

In the present day, Jared has a chance to tell Frida it was him... but he decides against it, so she still has no idea.

Xander Clavell is in trouble with the mob after screwing some shit up...

And Xander's servitude to mobster Nick Alto is solidified after Nicolo Lothario is sent to scare him into submission. He is also told that he is not to have further contact with Frida.

Frida is struggling with her possible feelings for her childhood friend Xander, and is upset to learn from his mother that he has left town. She feels rejected and hurt, and has no idea about his association with the mob, or the fact that he's trying to protect her.

Frida learns that her best friend Pauline Wan is the one who is ultimately responsible for her being sent away to an abusive behaviorial school all those years ago. Her experience at that school launched her into years of PTSD-fueled dysfunction and hardship.

Meanwhile, Erik Darling's killer is still at large. Frida is a suspect in his murder; people think she may have been geting revenge on Erik after his actions caused her to drown at a party all those years ago...the same party where Jared Frio saved her life.

Time may be running out to prove her innocence. Many people in town think she's guilty and are demanding that she be arrested. Her brother Gunther is calling upon her to help him find the truth and save the Goth legacy before it's too late...
