rambling under the cut

used lasso fill for drawing because its not that hard to use and makes it easier for me not to be to strict or focused on details

and with my usual thick lines its hard to draw something with so many ridges and shapes

and im not used to plain thin lines and they always look weird when i try to use thin

prolly because none of my devices are pressure sensitive so lasso fill is also the only way i can get varied line weights

i did use thick lines for the general sketch so i wasnt just drawing stuff from the middle of nowhere

but then my attempts using that sketch went weird so i just did a silhouette to really focus on the general shapes and not details and then i put both of them at low opacity and ended up vaguely using them to guide me

also i think the reason the face is terrible is 1) cause i wasnt focused on details and the face is like 3 details so when the few details are a little off its gonna look weird, 2) i do not draw people so when i try to draw people-like faces or heads it looks weird cause i am inexperienced in that category of drawing
