i went to the gay bar today and i was really nervous but it was a bunch of gay people who were older than 25 lmfao it was so nice to just people watch and take in the atmosphere it was really quick and easy for me to feel comfortable which i didnt think was possible for me rn. and THEN i even made a friend! a queen! she was hiding from some weirdos downstairs and instinctually sought shelter with these lesbians sitting in the upstairs smoking room by ourselves. she let us hit her pen too and was invited us to come over to smoke together 😭😭 literally not much older than me just that sweet range i love to hangout with like 25-30 year olds are my crowd. i dont relate to other people my age i know everyone says that but i have hung out with people from this generation and befriended people 5 yrs older than me on the internet since i was 11 years old. so to meet a young queen in that sweet spot age range i feel most understood by was soooo validating even though i didnt talk much i felt comfortable. we all left the bar together to make her feel comfortable leaving and left when she left it was just very fun and interesting to get a peak into the scene i was isolating from for so long and yearned to be apart of. stupid as fuck but felt like home in a way i didnt feel fucking weird at all like how i feel in every social situation im in.
