Hi, I just want to get out of the way that I’m not a spambot/virus even though there’s been a game dev one going around geez…

Anyway! Back in December I happened to see your post come across my dash and since then I’ve kinda been working on a Yugioh dating game. And what with all the recent Tag Force stuff I was wondering if I could ask for your thoughts/opinions/ideas? I’ve never actually played a dating sim myself! Heh. 

Sorry I know this is really coming out of the blue…hope it’s not tooo weird!

Oh, and some proof of concept:

It looks absolutely amazing so far, the sprites are just perfect and it looks like it's going to be so cool!

Ahh, I'm actually kind of honored that you're asking for my advice but I'll be completely honest with you I think I've only played one dating sim before myself ^^;

I'd say you should probably jsut keep it simple, like maybe just a few dateable characters at least for a first game?  Otherwise you might have too many overlapping threads to keep track of...I don't know how in depth you're going storywise, but that can probably be kept really simple too!

The art and maps and sprites look soooo cool so far!  Thank you so much for sharing this with me, I can't wait to see anything else you come up with!
