The way ppl portray zhongli sometimes esp when hes with childe is so weird like they make childe be this experienced and knowledgable guy about the world bc he travels w the fatui and then like ??? Its so weird its like they want to make zhongli be this powerful hot guy but also they infantilize him and emphasize how ohhh he doesnt know a lot bc hes always been in liyue :(( hes so inexperienced and innocent he dont know nothing :(( . Like. Its so weird. Because it's canonically untrue . Hes the one guy out of the entire cast who knows such extensive history and makes a point of relaying bits and pieces of it to everyone he knows because a lot of that history will die with him since hes the oldest living archon. Every time you fucking talk to him the man is infodumping to the point id almost go far enough to say he's autistic coded with how much people remark about him (everyone saying he has some weird demeanor or mannerisms and talks too much about the most random things and has weird food preferences and cant socialize right but they let it slide because he's helpful and kind). Like. It just feels strange and kind of weird not to mention half the mfs doing this specifically do it to zhongli when he is like. The poc out of the two of them. But dont do it to childe. Weird haha
