ilya:
-most sniffly guy ever. i feel like this is pretty much cannon ?? He’s soooo sniffly and cute and he’s always touching his nose
-really rough with his nose. just absolutely bullies that thing. with his fingers, palms, sleeve, whatever he can find, just generally is aggressive with the rubs and pinches like that will be enough to get his nose to quit bothering him (it’s not)
-sneezes in doubles, triples, or more. just a sneezy guy, and it’s always worse when he’s sick
-huge, loud, aggressive sneezes that are typically pretty messy or wet. he sneezes with a lot of voice, not a dad sneeze but not far off
-not typically embarrassed about sneezing just like he’s not embarrassed about most things
-allergic to cats and also to some sort of Canadian plant/tree (he refuses to get tested) so he’s always downing antihistamines when he’s in Canada. It gets frustrating at times since he’s just so allergic. His eyes, face, ears, and nose itch fiercely and the sneezing doesn’t stop. He’s hopeless without some Benadryl
-doesn’t get sick a ton, but it’s usually a head cold. his sneezes are much more frequent, much more urgent, much wetter.
-for someone so sneezy he has a bit of an aversion to blowing his nose and will wait until it’s absolutely necessary
-doesn’t really care to cover his sneezes and mostly just aims them at the ground or the general direction of his arm or under the collar of his shirt/jersey. it drives shane insane
-photoic but only with the sun. Stepping out into sunlight always makes him sneeze at least twice
-he’s always sniffly once he’s off the ice from the cold
-sensitive to strong scents, colognes, candles, etc

-quiet and reserved sneezer. he always stifles in public or around literally anyone other than ilya. he gets embarrassed easily and doesn’t want the extra attention
-sneezes are always pretty soft and breathy, not much voice to them
-sneezes are very rapid and small and itchy. He always gets embarrassed about how many times he sneezes in a row so he smothers them into mostly silence. He’s not super sneezy in general though, so thankfully he doesn’t die of mortification too often
-honeymoon rhinitis 🤭🤭 he’s embarrassed about it, and it only really started happening when he began hooking up with ilya. also touching himself while thinking of ilya does it.
-cigarette smoke makes him sneeze
-bigger sneezes when he’s sick. They’re larger and wetter and he hates it. He’ll stifle even if it’s physically painful. Has given himself sinus infections before, and ilya always tries to get him to stop. “Sneeze normally, Hollander.”
-mild allergies in the spring, but mostly he just gets itchy and sniffly
-nose runs when he tears up or cries, also when it’s cold and windy out.
-embarrassed about blowing his nose. he only really likes to do this in complete privacy
-emotional when he’s sick, easily tears up and gets overwhelmed
