My first uu video was Wemmbu faking his death! I didn’t even know the depth of his relationship with Flame until I went back and watched the Farlands arc dawg. I need to watch Zam Empire methinks.
Actually their dynamic is so. Fascinating to me. What do you mean you are so entwined with your rival that you would spend month(s) looking for her when the entire server thinks she’s dead. What do you mean surpassing your rival was the last thing you needed to do on the server, that everything you did was more or less because you wanted to beat him.
What do you mean you have everything to gain and nothing to lose, even as you lie to yourself about what will happen with one more fight, one more rematch, one more feral grin.
Flame is nothing more than a weapon; he has no true friends, only allies. The closest thing he has is perhaps Lomedy, but it’s out of convenience more than anything else. He has his status and title and reputation. Until Wemmbu, he didn’t really have someone see him. And then Wemmbu takes the one thing he could call his, and Flame relishes in the challenge even as it hurts, because what else would he do.
Wemmbu has been made into a weapon of necessity; she cannot let her friends, let Eggchan, die. Not again. Egg was safe enough in the End, what with Minute guarding the entrance, so he could have a moment to breathe easy. (It was difficult to be funny without him there.) He challenges Flame one last time, and hopes that after this, he and his friends will be left alone. But a part of her hopes. The strongest could be a title shared, if they let it.
