Sometimes being an adult is:

1. Realizing that there's no one to stop you from eating soup in bed

2. Finding out why it's a bad idea to eat soup in bed

3. Repurposing a small baking sheet as a tray so that you can continue to eat soup in bed

Work is supplying disposable bowls in the break room through covid, but we ran out yesterday.

And I brought soup for lunch.

So for the past like week there's been pretty much no food in the house...

I mean, in the first world sense of "there's a lot of condiments and produce but nothing that I can easily throw together in any semblance of a meal" so I've literally been subsisting on various egg based dishes, to the point that the idea of scrambled eggs is starting to make me nauseous

and then I realized "Caroline you sweet fool you have onions! Onions I say! and brandy!" *and then I at once commenced on making a giant vat of French Onion Soup... om nom nom*
