I have a bit of an AU, an AU I've been cooking for a while to the point it's probably burnt and for that I apologize. But anyways, I need to be heard out before I go crazy because it's taking over my mind and I'm trying to write a Sorvus fic.
Aaravos had a first love, he met them before he knew of the Orphan Queen and before he was trapped in the mirror prison
This love meant the world to Aaravos, his love made everything seem better and helped him forget all plans to ruin the human race with Dark Magic as a way to get revenge for Leola
It changed when his love eventually died due to a human kingdom thinking they were an enemy and turning them into a giant arrow holder, it was not a fun time for anyone involved
Aaravos ends up trapped a few months after that is now waiting for an opportunity to avenge both his daughter and lost love
When Viren takes the mirror and gets it working, Aaravos sees this as a that chance
But Aaravos hesitates when he sees Soren, Soren who looked exactly like his lost love and it doesn't help that Soren seems to behave almost exactly like his lost love
It drives Aaravos mad and he needs Viren to free him immediately, just to see if Soren is truly like his lost love
This sorta changes the time of events, Aaravos is freed much earlier and the battle at the storm spire doesn't really happen
Now instead of Aaravos working with Viren, he's trying to woo Soren
It's amuses everyone but Viren because this is not how it was supposed to go and Soren doesn't even seem to realize that Aaravo wants to hold hands romantically
Claudia is the one who takes the most joy from these events, mainly cause Aaravos goes to her for advice about Soren, she takes a great amount of glee of both messing with Aaravos by telling him a bunch of bs and giving him actual help
Aaravos only seems to continually go to her for help because she's the only one who knows Soren the best
It does not work out because Soren is not getting the hint of Aaravos wanting him
The rest of Katolis just watches as Aaravos looks like a rejected puppy everytime Soren doesn't seem to understand his advances
No one understands his pain but he makes it everyone's problem by bothering anyone who doesn't seem busy or he will start yapping if someone asks him about how it's going with Soren
