JIGGLES PAST HIM
Though there is disgust evident in his narrowed eyes (honestly Oliver is a shining example of why people deserve to be hated), he can’t help but watch the man jiggle on his merry way- is he thinking of ways to convince enemy wyvern's to become distracted in battle by wanting to eat the bloated egotistical greedbag? Perhaps. Maybe if they contained meat juices in a perfume bottle and convinced the idiot it was the newest trend among the elites…
"Ooh, half beast, half man? Heh... If something as small as you can be CALLED a man... Interesting..."
@of-invisible-ties
“Dad your side hoe is being mean to me! Valter you’re fired.”
Now for the legit reply-
“Tell me why your opinions should matter to me?” It was hardly the worst thing he had ever been called, though the fact that the other had known of his cursed blood and not assumed he was a mere spirit charmer was bothersome. “You don’t even have the proper facts- do I look as if I am half-beast? No. Go away and bother someone else with your senseless drivel.” There may be beast in his bloodline, but he did not have the physical features to show as such, therefore he was not ‘half beast’ at all, was he?
Not in his eyes, at least, and who else mattered really?
(Well, aside from a select few, that is; very select few at that.)
BADLY, flirts with (ike to soren:)
Send something for your muse to do to mine!
Admittedly, he hadn’t been paying the closest of attention to what Ike had been saying. He understood the general of what was being spoken of, the overall message of conversation, but his mind had begun wandering and the precise words themselves were lost to him. Thus when Ike fell quiet it took Soren a few moments to truly realize, then another moment to recall what the man had even said. When it finally struck him what he had missed, a blush flared over his pale cheeks and his eyes widened as he glanced at Ike incredulously.
“…. What?” Desperate was his attempt to will the blush away, the mage immediately twisting to face opposite of Ike in an effort to hide the faint happy quirk of his lips. He won’t lie and say he understood why, nor will he admit that he perhaps maybe liked it, as it is much effort was needed to even keep himself from chuckling with amazement. “Were… Did you just try and flirt with me…?” It seemed as though that was the intent, however as Ike was not exactly a ‘smooth talker’ Soren felt reluctant to call it anything more than an attempt.
He adores you Ike, truly he does- he is merely blunt, as you are well aware of.
[ intimidation level... 1. But I guess Soren gets a 9 B) I hope he's proud of his ominousness!! ]
On a scale of 1-10 how intimidating am I?
That’s what I like to hear! I’ve been called intimidating in the past, and it makes me quite happy when people tell me otherwise <3 I don’t want to be scary and unapproachable, I want to make friends and find great writing partners and I can’t really do that if people think I’m some elite untouchable person, so thank you friendo <3
He’s quite pleased thanks~
👤 + Ninian

“… Soft.” Is the first word that comes to mind when Ninian is mentioned. “Soft-spoken; soft-hearted, she appears so delicate and breakable. Though she is determined and her abilities are quite useful, she is perhaps not quite suited for battle- with her caring nature I imagine she would fit well tending to the wounded, surely they would appreciate her gentleness the most of us all.”
She was kind as well, and he could respect her slower way of speaking; ensuring that each word is thought out and genuine, she was not meant for battle... Though speaking this aloud only makes him wryly smirk, her desire to aid her allies and her dances reminding him of a previous ally in much the same position- too delicate, too soft, fierce with the desire to be of use and fight but unable to do more than offer what little assistance they could. Ninian would adore the herons. no doubt.
“... She’ll make a good mother one day, if this war does not change her.” She was too kind; too gentle, and Soren internally scoffed at how caring she was towards other, he had to admit that the world needed more people like her. After all, if the world was filled with more people like him, or the villains (honestly why were there so many of them?!) they now fought alongside of, then he doubted it would remain standing for much longer.
👤 + Leo
Send me 👤+ a character name for my muse’s opinion on that character
“He is admirable, I will admit. His magical prowess is impressive and his intellect is respectable; his lack of hesitation in battle, as well as his ruthlessness towards our enemies, make him a valuable ally.” Soren had not spent much time with the man himself, but he had heard talk from others of the Prince being a rather polite and respectful man to near all those he spoke with- Soren had yet to decide if this was Leo acting genuine or merely putting forth a mask, nor had he decided if he would be bothered to discover the truth behind the absent-minded ponderings.
“He is far from the most annoying royal I have met in my life.” Honestly, coming from Soren that was indeed quite the compliment. “For now he is tolerable, perhaps given time and actually speaking with one another that may change- for better or for worse.” He wouldn’t be opposed to it. He had little time for those who would waste his, and from what Soren had seen of him thus far, Leo seemed to perhaps follow a similar line of thought.
He could, of course, be wrong. If he wasn’t wrong however, conversing with the Prince could prove to be a valuable experience. Though Soren quite detested people as a whole, he could deign to make time for those who offered good tactical or magical inclined discussions; perhaps they could even learn something new from one another in the process.
👤 + Shinon, cause I'm a dick
Send me 👤+ a character name for my muse’s opinion on that character
“Useless. Kept in the mercenaries merely for his merit as an archer, I can give him that much at least. His skills with the bow are impressive and have aided us in many situations, but Shinon himself is a far cry from someone that many want around.” His arrogant attitude; lack of respect, knowing that he would turn on them if only offered the proper amount of gold- not to mention what he would do if he ever discovered Soren’s secret, the mere thought of having Shinon of all people expose him as Branded was enough to have the mage’s skin crawl. “At least the drink wants him.” No one else does.
