neglected manuscript - Do you have a favorite novel?

Ahh, I have so many novels I love! Which one I call my favourite depends entirely on the mood I’m in. So, right now I would say The Sillmarillion, Sława i chwała and Nad Niemnem? And I’m currently kind of re-discovering the Moomins books - I wasn’t very keen on them as a child, but now that I decided to reread them I enjoy every moment of it.

distant shores - If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

Indonesia because I bet my mum I will go there before I’m 30 years old and I’ve just realised how much money I will need to win this bet  A trip around the world is always a good thing to dream about, but I’ve just come back from Prague and in few weeks I’m going to Budapest and during holidays I visited so many places I think I would be happy just having some time to relax not far from home. Biebrza National Park would be nice, or Baltic Sea (but somewhere not crowded).

phantom footsteps - Do you believe in ghosts?

Hmmm, complicated. I like the idea of ghosts - spirits of people floating around the places they loved when alive, or watching over their families and giving advices, or Dziady-part-II-style waiting for someone to help them move to heaven / hell / whatever. But I don’t believe in them, nahhh, too rational for that. So I will love a place for its smell and for the way light reflects on the objects and the floor is creaking and the wind is moving the leaves and I will imagine a ghost, because ghost stories are great and because I like the idea that sometimes death is not enough to make a person go away, but I will still know it’s only my imagination. Something like that.

🐝 Sera it was an instant friendship. bell absolutely appreciates sera’s down to earth attitude, her eagerness to help the little people and the distaste for everyone high and mighty; it keeps the entire cause grounded. also bell was more than just relieved to meet someone as ordinary as sera - not a mage, not a chantry associate, not an old friend of the champion or the hero, just a feisty girl with a bow.

🍷 The Warden/the Hero of Fereldenbluebell doesn’t think much about mahariel, because they never met. naturally, there is a note of gratitude - mahariel did, after all, save the world - but other than that it’s the most general, impersonal attitude. there’s a healthy dose of respect for a dalish hunter who had to abandon everything she knew, and some admiration for a goal-oriented dalish girl who managed to find her own path in the world shaped by shem men - but that’s it.though i do think they’d at least respect each other if they ever actually met. they are both outsiders to human customs, and they both had to find their own paths.

🦅 Hawkebell used to see hawke as that romantic, selfless hero of legend; she knew tale of the champion by heart.and then varric brought hawke to skyhold - and the illusion was shattered.naturally, bell still thinks highly of hawke - a self-made hero, a savior of the opressed and the lost, proclaimed basalit-an by the most famous arishok - but finally she saw what ascension like this can do to people. hawke paid a high price for her heroism, and bell was a bit ashamed to admit she had never thought about it - after all, even varric’s book was more about the impact hawke had on the world, rather than about hawke herself.but, nevertheless - the champion lived up to bell’s expectations, all while being a sad reminder of what’s awaiting her. they got along.(but only weeks later she had fully understood what it means to be qunari’s basalit-an.)

Orihana: Returning to the Circle and toconfinement - so I guess symbolically she’d probably see a group of templarscoming for her with chains.

Yvonne: She would be completely alone in asilent field, with the bodies of everyone she’s ever cared about strewn aroundher. The nightmares in ME3 are right on target.

Orihana: She likes feminine clothing and jewely,she’s very much a femme lesbian. She also likes turquoise and green.

Yvonne: She usually wears armor or verypractical clothing, but she’d never admit to anyone how much she enjoyedgetting to wear a dress to infiltrate Hock’s party. She does like to customizeher armor though - there’s no specific color palette, as long as she gets tomake it whatever color she wants.
