11, 36, 41, 79 for Hana?

11. What is your OC’s relationship with his/her mother?

It’s a close one, even with their personalities almost being polar opposites. For all of Hana’s goofy cheerfulness, her mother counters that with a more stoic and serious outlook and personality. But she never hesitated to be warm and affectionate towards her, and Hana never doubted that she loved her.

Her mother’s work did keep her from home a lot of the time, however, and they could never stay in one place for too long due to needing to move to areas where her mother could find steady work, so at times the only close relationship Hana had (and could rely on) was with her. So, she did feel some resentment at the unintentional isolation even if this was simply the best they could do at the time. When her mother died, this was all she could think about for a good long while, and she hated how she’d let those feelings creep in to begin with.

As an adult, she misses her every day, and wishes she could talk to her like she used to. If there was anyone that could drive her doubts away and let her know everything was going to be alright, it was her. For all that she did, she’d thank her, and wouldn’t ever be able to ever do so enough.

36. What are your OC’s thoughts/opinions of his/her current profession?

This was not what she signed up for. What the fuck.

Other than that, the first two weeks were the kind of mundane that she was honestly looking forward to. It was strange moving to a smaller community where she’d really get to know the people around her, and Earl was the kind of figure that made it clear that she wasn’t a burden on his time. She was going to bust her ass to make sure she wouldn’t be, but regardless, he helped her feel welcome. Joey was just the kind of person that she wanted to learn the ropes from and get to know better, and even Staci was fun to be around even if he kept on leaning way too hard on the fact that she was the rookie. They’d find a way to get along in time.

But even so, with the shift, she’s more convinced than ever that she’s going to fight like hell for these people, and isn’t about to back down from that.

41. What is your OC’s greatest fear?

That everything she gets involved in or with, breaks. That she’s the problem, they’re worse off for it, and it would’ve been better if she hadn’t been involved to begin with.

Which is why Jacob gets a solid gold prize for coming at her with what he says right when she leaves the Wolf’s Den. He cut her to the quick so fast, it was impressive, and she hates him for it.

79. What is your OC’s favorite kind of ice cream?

If Hana could get her hands on some coffee/mocha chocolate chip ice cream, she’d eat that for days.
