First Meeting Sentence Starters @chasindtrevelyan
Almas's gaze flicked up and down the Miqo'te in front of her, her lips pressed into a tight line.
Her first thought was that he was possibly the tallest of their race she'd ever seen. Then again, she hadn't exactly met a lot of male Miqo'tes...at least not ones without a direct blood relation to her. That was what growing up in a Keeper clan was like. Females stuck around and the males came and went. Even her male cousins eventually left. Leaving the Twelveswood hadn't exactly introduced her to many of her kind either...well, except the Miqo'te in Ul'dah who seemed to be relegated to the more lurid.
The second was that he was so pale. The sun in Thanalan was relentless. She had learned that the hard way with sunburn that relegated her to hiding in one of the inn rooms in the Adventurer's Guild. This male must have that but turned up to eleven. She heard about a rare condition that some had where they had no pigment in their skin or hair and wondered if he suffered from that. It wouldn't shock her if he did.
Her eyes flicked to the Allagan Silver piece in his hand. Maybe she'd been in Ul'dah too long because her immediate reaction was that he was angling for something. It was rare that someone was kind without any known motive in that city. A more suspicious person would assume he'd picked her pocket just to look like a kind stranger. He looked too genuine for Almas to believe that.
"...Thanks." Was the terse response he got.
