More GBA shit.
Albus had heard of sisters and brothers of the faith cutting their hair was a sign of faithlessness. Of treason. Of leaving behind everything. He had heard that it was almost as bad as being a bastard.
Of course. He had never seen it before. Until now where Faithful stared at him from the mirror before turning. The knife she asked to borrow in her hands and her hair on the floor. No longer making it to her knees.
"SO it's true then?" he asked. "A sister cutting her hair is a sister leaving behind everything?"
Faithful nodded and turned her eyes to the floor. "Turn around." She shot up and glared at him. "Calm down. I'm not gonna bend you over. Unless you ask of course."
"You're incorrigible." she sighed as she turned.
"Still don't know what that means." Albus took the knife and took the end of her hair. The lengths were choppy and uneven. She wasn't used to cutting her hair at least not like this.
"It means impossible to deal with. Ridiculous."
"Mmh." he hummed. "How long have you been growing your hair?"
"Since I was little." she chuckled. "I used to hate haircuts. But now... I don't have much choice."
"You do." Albus chuckled. "I just got to fix the edge-"
"No." she interrupted. A new determination in her voice "To my shoulders or more."
Albus dared to look up, seeing faithful twirl a piece of her hair. But he chuckled again. "Alright but don't come complaining if it doesn't look how you want got that?"
Faithfull rolled her eyes. Yeah yeah. Whatever you say bastard."
"Ha!" Albus laughed. The familiar, annoying, warm feeling in his chest grew again. "Says the bitch."
