How would Ironwood, Ozpin, Glynda (nobody ever asks for her, so I have to do it) and Winter react to their s/o or crush suddenly asking "Hey, can I hug you?"

Ironwood freezes up. He wouldn’t know how to respond. Especially since he really likes the person who’s asking him. He would be frozen for maybe a solid minute before actually doing anything. He wouldn’t know how to compute his emotions. After finally regaining some control, he’ll just nod.

Ozpin is surprised. He’s the type to be prepared for almost anything, and this was just not what he was expected. Though he will do his best not to show he was startled, no matter if it was his s/o or crush. “Of course” he’ll reply in a nonchalant tone.

Glynda will be thoroughly confused. “Why?” Is her first reaction. She probably won’t get and answer and she wasn’t really expecting one. Though she was stare at them for a moment, she’ll give them their hug. 

Winter stared at them for maybe a full minute. She isn’t one for physical affection most of the time, so she’ll wonder why they asked her of all people. She won’t say it out loud, because she would actually enjoy a hug from them. So she doesn’t say a thing and just hugs them.
