Hibiscus: I can listen to Thunder Road a million times in a row and never get tired of it, just expand this to include all of Born to Run. I love Bruce Springsteen, and I’m not sorry,
Turkish: I enjoy baking cake, but I don’t actually like to eat cake that much? I’m more of a pie person. I’ll eat a really good yellow cake birthday cake though, with chocolate buttercream frosting, you know like where there’s a line of frosting in the middle and on top?

23. Butter tea: Show / Tell me about one thing i your room you find awesome. One thing I love (AND AM GOING TO MISS WHEN WE MOVE) is the shape of the room - it’s got that rounded side where the windows are so I can see the street from like four different angles? It’s like living in a turret. My favorite thing in here is to shut all the lights off and pull all the blinds up when it’s snowing.

i love all comments and tags i get, im lucky enough not to have gotten any hateful or annoying ones yet but the stuff thats meant the most has been dms i've gotten from people who have connected with my fic on a very personal level for one reason or another. its very sweet to hear people's connections to my writing <3 i also really like when people tell me their favorite part or point out other small details :-)
🌈 is there a fic that you worked *really fucking hard on* that no one would ever know? maybe a scene/theme you struggled with?
i talked abt this fic in a different ask but it absolutely fits for this question too so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ! but love, patiently was a fucking war to write oh my GOD. i wrote like 2k words in a different direction for the ending that i ended up scrapping and still have saved somewhere but yeah. god i fought with that one really hard for a long time

When I outline, I get bored and lose interest in writing the story, so I just write stuff as it comes to me and piece it all together later. 😂
that approach has worked beautifully for me until the last year or so, when my wordcounts have begun to EXPLODE and I’ve realised that I need to knuckle down and actually learn to write an original novel before the list of ideas I have becomes longer than my lifespan.
but the good thing about something like scrivener is that once the skeletal outline is there, leaping around writing stuff as it comes to me is VERY EASY. currently i am writing a scene involving the ANGEL OF DEATH because it seemed like more fun at 11pm then yet another scene involving some politicians whose names I keep having to pull out of thin air.

If you're not in the area of whatever team you're cheering for it works out really well. If you are, though, you still have to catch the game on a local provider or (if it's not broadcast) cry about it.

Right? It feels silly, but it's not totally unfounded. Also, this is why I so rarely go into things unspoiled. But once in a while, I just stop myself from looking up spoilers, and that's where all the nerves come in XD
